At Bowley Elementary, we believe in creating a positive, engaging, and supportive environment where every student can thrive! That’s why we proudly implement Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), a proactive approach to promoting good behavior and reinforcing our school values.

💡 What is PBIS? PBIS is a school-wide framework that teaches students clear behavioral expectations and celebrates positive actions. By focusing on positive reinforcement rather than punishment, we help students develop strong social-emotional skills, improve their academic performance, and create a more welcoming school community.

🎯 How Does It Work at Bowley?

  • Clear Expectations: Students learn and practice Bowley’s core values, such as Respect, Responsibility, and Safety, throughout their day.
  • Positive Reinforcement: Our staff recognizes and rewards positive behavior through praise, special incentives, and recognition. Whether it’s a kind gesture, helping a classmate, or showing responsibility, we make sure to highlight and celebrate every achievement!
  • Engaging Activities: Students participate in fun, engaging activities like PBIS assemblies, classroom competitions, and reward days to keep motivation high and encourage continued success.

Celebrating Success: At Bowley, we believe in recognizing all the small steps toward great behavior! From earning class incentives to school-wide shout-outs, we ensure that students know their positive actions are appreciated and valued.

Together, with PBIS, we are building a culture of positivity, respect, and responsibility at Bowley Elementary. Let’s continue to support our students in making our school a fantastic place to learn and grow! 💙📚
