In an ongoing effort to enhance the safety and well-being of military-connected students, the Military Police at Fort Bragg have strengthened their partnership with Bowley Elementary School. Through a weekly presence on campus, the Military Police not only ensure the safety of the school environment but also provide invaluable support to students.

Each week, Military Police officers visit Bowley Elementary, greeting students as they arrive, engaging in positive interactions and being a visible source of security throughout the day. Their presence reassures parents and staff alike that the students are learning in a safe, secure environment. Staff members of Bowley Elementary expressed appreciation for the program, stating, "Having the Military Police on campus regularly helps foster a sense of safety and security, but it also builds relationships between the officers and the students. For our military-connected kids, seeing these officers interact in a positive, approachable way helps bridge the gap between their personal lives and their school environment."

This partnership serves to reinforce the community's commitment to its military families, ensuring that children feel protected and supported both at home and in the classroom. Officers are not only there for security purposes but can help if requested for special events. This promotes awareness of safety measures and emphasized the importance of mutual respect and community.

The collaboration between Bowley Elementary and the Military Police highlights the vital role that local military law enforcement plays in building trust and promoting a secure educational experience for military-connected students. As this partnership continues to grow, the school and Fort Liberty community are optimistic about the positive impact it will have on the students’ development and sense of belonging.
